Upper Musquodoboit is a forestry and farming community located in the northeastern reaches of the Musquodoboit Valley, within the Halifax Regional Municipality, approximately 75 kilometres from Downtown Halifax. The community sits along the Musquodoboit River and is situated at the junction of Route 336 and Route 224.
At the 2006 Census, Upper Musquodoboit had a population of 473 people and covers an area of 380.25 square kilometres.
