Aylesford Map

Aylesford is a village located in western Kings County, in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada. The community sits between the North Mountain and the South Mountain, and is named after the fourth Earl of Aylesford, Heneage Finch, who served as Lord of the Bedchamber to George III from 1772 to 1777. Aylesford is situated roughly a 10 minute drive from the neighbouring Town of Berwick, and approximately 15 minutes from Canadian Forces Base Greenwood.

The village lies along the Evangeline Trail, a scenic tourist route that takes its name from the epic 1847 poem Evangeline, A Tale of Acadie by H.W. Longfellow.
