Granville Ferry is a small village in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, situated directly across the Annapolis River from Annapolis Royal. The community takes its name from John Carteret, 2nd Earl Granville, and historically served as the northern terminus for ferries crossing the river. During the Golden Age of Sail, Granville Ferry was a major shipbuilding centre. The village was also home to the father of Bessie Hall, a notable female mariner of the 19th century. According to the 2021 census, the population of Granville Ferry was 152, reflecting an increase of 38.2% since the 2016 census.
