Port Joli is a small community located in the Region of Queens Municipality in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The village sits approximately 20 miles from Liverpool, Nova Scotia, the nearest significant town, and about 120 miles from Halifax, the provincial capital. Port Mouton lies roughly midway between Port Joli and Liverpool.
The community’s name comes from the French word joli, meaning “pretty.”
