Saulnierville is a rural Acadian fishing community located in Digby County, Nova Scotia, founded in 1785. The community is home to Comeau Sea Foods, the French Shore’s largest fish processing plant, which has been in operation since 1946. One of the oldest churches in the region, Sacré Cœur Church, was built in 1880 and remains a notable landmark in the community.
The Clare Municipality Veterans Centre in Saulnierville serves as the starting point for the Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie, a mass-start cycling ride held each year in late September.
