Tantallon is an exurban community located within Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada. Situated approximately 32 km (20 mi) from Downtown Halifax, it occupies a stretch of land running roughly three kilometres along Route 333, extending from about two kilometres south of Trunk 3 to just south of Longards Road. The community also includes Whynachts Point and Sheeps Head Island.

Tantallon is bordered to the north by Upper Tantallon and to the south by Glen Haven. Its boundaries along Route 333 run from just north of Ballfield Road southward, defining a clearly outlined stretch of the municipality.
